Financial advice, transformed
Liz has worked in financial services administration all her working life, and first met Stephen when they were colleagues at an investment company in Leeds. When he told her that he was considering setting up Robertson Baxter, she jumped at the chance to join the new venture, recognising as she did the values and work ethic that they shared. Relishing the prospect of helping to set up a truly client-focused company, Liz has never looked back since.
Undaunted by the task of creating systems and processes, Liz literally needed to build the back office from scratch, for both the client and regulatory aspects of the business, including the FSA. Today, with Helen alongside her to manage the client portfolios, the two have everything running like clockwork.
Liz loves the fact that, in a small team, everyone makes a huge contribution, and every client can be given a really personal service. She works equally with Stephen and Greg, providing support for their clients, and is also responsible for ensuring that all management information held is correct and accurate.
Liz has the longest commute in the team, coming in from Keighley on her four working days each week. In her precious spare time she loves listening to rock music, and will often be found at rock concerts with her husband. In quieter moments, Liz enjoys spending time with her two pampered cats, and holidaying in the Caribbean.
